Shiny, Happy Paper

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   #saleabration2018   The second release of Sale-a-Bration products is available now! My favorite offering is the Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper. It's beautiful on its own, but it can also be colored!

Today's card is quick and easy and involves no stamping--but, of course, it uses an array of wonderful Stampin' Up products! And it's so shiny and happy!!

I started by cutting a 3-7/8" by 5-1/8" piece of Copper Foil Sheet. Since I was going to use this for a mat and didn't want to waste a bunch of paper that wouldn't be seen, I used my Stampin' Trimmer to cut out the center, like this. You can save that center piece for later use.

Next, I cut a 3-3/4" by 5" piece of the Springtime Foils Specialty DSP and sponged on three colors of ink: Sweet Sugarplum, Powder Pink, and Blushing Bride. I adhered this to the Copper Foil mat and then onto a Thick Whisper White Card Stock card base.

I used the center piece from the foil to cut out "amazing" and "you" with the Celebrate You Thinlits from the first release of Sale-a-Bration items. I adhered these to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. And because there apparently wasn't enough bling for me yet, I added four Berry Burst Glitter Enamel Dots. Isn't this card so shiny and happy?!
