Luck for me, Stampin' Up always has a wide variety of stamps and coordinating products to make birthday cards. I always scoop up the new stuff because it's so fun. Today's card is especially fun because it's a pop-up card! Whee!
We made this card at the November 2016 OnStage Local event. It's always fun to get our hands on new products at these events. It's one of the perks of being a Stampin' Up demonstrator!
The card base is Crushed Curry and we added a piece of Party Animal Designer Series Paper. I popped mine up with Stampin' Dimensionals. We stamped the sentiment in Pacific Point onto a 3" by 2" piece of Whisper White Card Stock and added some streamers in Crushed Curry Ink. This piece is adhered directly to the card.
We tied a bit of 1/8" Emerald Envy Taffeta Ribbon into a bow and adhered that to the card with a Glue Dot. Then we used some Whisper White Bakers Twine to tie on the seriously cute Party Animal Embellishment.
The fun starts when you open the card! The Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits do all the work! We ran a 7-1/2" by 5" piece of Whisper White through the Big Shot with the thinlits and then stamped the balloons using stamps from the "Balloon Adventures" stamp set in Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango, and Emerald Envy. We added the sentiment in Pacific Point. We also added a couple of strips of striped paper from the Party Animal DSP. So cute, right?!
