Thank Goodness

#stampinup   faithfulinkspirations   What's fall without pumpkins? They're everywhere--decorating front porch stoops and table tops and even in our coffee! (Yuck--you can have your PSLs. I'll stick to my caramel macchiato, thank you.) The "Pick a Pumpkin" set is perfect for fall! Today's sweet thank you card is another one we made at the Proverbial Stampers session.

We started by stamping two of the pumpkins from the "Pick a Pumpkin" stamp set in Tangerine Tango Ink and the gourd in Fresh Fig Ink onto Very Vanilla Card Stock scraps. We cut these elements out with the matching Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits Dies. We also cut a couple of Old Olive Card Stock curlicues with one of the thinlits.

We used the 2-1/4" Circle Punch to punch a circle from a sheet of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper and adhered it directly to a 4" by 5-1/4" Very Vanilla Card Stock panel. We used the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere an Early Espresso pumpkin silhouette to the Wood Texture DSP. The pumpkin silhouette is another of the Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits dies.

We stamped a sentiment from the "Gourd Goodness" set in Fresh Fig Ink at the bottom of the Very Vanilla panel and adhered it to a Fresh Fig Card Stock card base.

Next, we folded a 5" piece of Fresh Fig Finely Woven Ribbon and adhered it to the card. We adhered the pumpkins to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals and tucked the curlicues in between. Isn't this card just darling?!

Merry and Really Bright

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   Man! That "Festive Phrases" stamp set is so versatile!  I already showed you the cute Halloween card. Today I'm going to show you the first of two Christmas cards from that set. We made this one at our Proverbial Stampers get together and it is certainly merry and really bright!
We started by stamping the sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink on a 2-3/4" square of Whisper White Card Stock. We colored in the Christmas lights with Real Red, Daffodil Delight, and Pacific Point Stampin' Write Markers and then adhered the stamped image to a 3" square of Basic Black Card Stock.

We built the card, starting with a Pacific Point Card Stock card based on to which we added a 2" by 5-1/4" Real Red Card Stock strip that had been embossed with the Oh My Stars Embossing Folder. Next we added a 2-3/4" square of Daffodil Delight Card Stock. We used Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the stamped image and finished the card with some pretty Basic Rhinestones.

This card is quick and easy and very festive!! I love the non-traditional Christmas colors! Next week I'll be sharing the second Christmas card we made with this set. It's adorable!

Sparkling Snowflake

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations   When I saw the Winter Wonder Textured Impressions Folder in the Stampin' Up catalog, I knew I had to have it! It's just one, giant snowflake, but I have loads of ideas how I'm going to use it. Stay tuned!

We used it at the Proverbial Stampers get-together to make this simple, but stunning card! Really, with just a few "ingredients" you could make a stack of these elegant cards in no time!!
We used the Winter Wonder Textured Impressions Folder to emboss a 4" by 5-1/4" Very Vanilla panel. We adhered this panel to a Thick Very Vanilla Card Stock card base.

Next, we stamped one of the snowflakes from the "Snowflake Sentiments" stamp set onto a Very Vanilla scrap, sprinkled on some Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder, and set it with a Heat Embossing Tool. We punched this out with the 1-1/2" Circle Punch. We punched another circle from some Gold Glimmer Paper with the 1-3/8" Circle Punch.

To finish the card, we adhered a 4" piece of Gold 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon to the card with a small strip of Snail Adhesive, then adhered the Gold Glimmer circle to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals, and the embossed snowflake circle to the Gold Glimmer circle with some more Stampin' Dimensionals. See? So easy--and so elegant!

The "Snowflake Sentiments" set is a must-have set. It has so many wonderful greetings for your Christmas cards!

It's Almost Fall (Y'all)

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations  The Stampin' Up Holiday Catalog has some great sets for the upcoming holidays--Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and even a little something for Valentine's Day. It also has some gorgeous fall themed stamp sets and designer series papers. Today's card features two of those sets and one DSP.

This is another card we made at the Proverbial Stampers new catalog set get-together. Being a Stampin' Up demonstrator introduces you to so many wonderful stampers--in your immediate group, in your upline group, and at Stampin' Up OnStage events I've really met some fabulous new friends this way--and I've gotten to play with so many fun Stampin' Up products. If this sounds fun to you, you should consider joining Stampin' Up as a demonstrator. Use the tab above to find more info, or contact me. I'd be glad to answer all your questions! Now back to the card.

We started by stamping one of the pumpkins from the "Pick a Pumpkin" stamp set in Tangerine Tango onto a pre-cut 2-1/2" Very Vanilla Card Stock circle. (The circle was pre-cut with one of the Layering Circles Framelits.) Next, we stamped a gourd from the same set in Old Olive. The sentiment is from the "Painted Harvest" stamp set and is stamped in Early Espresso. We adhered this to a large Gold Metallic Foil Doily.

To make the card, we started with an Early Espresso Card Stock card base and added three banners. The first banner is a 1-1/2" by 5" Tangerine Tango strip that we stamped a floral pattern from the "Pick a Pumpkin" set in Tangerine Tango Ink. The second banner is a 1-1/2" by 4-1/2" Old Olive strip. And the last banner is a 1-1/2" by 4" strip of the gorgeous Painted Autumn DSP. All the strips were punched with the Banner Triple Punch and adhered directly to the card.

We adhered the circle element to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. We also stamped a second pumpkin from the "Pick a Pumpkin" set in Tangerine Tango Ink onto a Very Vanilla scrap and cut it out with the matching Patterned Pumpkins Thinlit. We adhered this to the card with a couple of Stampin' Dimensionals and then added a Linen Thread bow to the card with a Glue Dot. Super cute!!
