Pretty in Pink Sympathy

A good friend's father recently passed away. It's hard when we've reached a certain age and our parents are aging and sick. We're all going through the same stage of life so that gives us strength and encouragement. Our greatest encouragement comes from our faith.

Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you;
he will never let the righteous be shaken.
Psalm 52:22

This week's Nacho Average Challenge had a great sketch for any card, but I decided to use this opportunity to make a card to encourage my friend.

Here's the sketch.

Here's my card.

(Stamp Sets: Everything Eleanor, Teeny Tiny Wishes; Ink: Soft Suede; Card Stock: Pink Pirouette, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla; Accessories: Envelope Punch Board (to round corners), Apothecary Accents Framelits Collection, Banner from Circle Card Framelit, Soft Suede Candy Dots)
Pink Pirouette and Soft Suede is one of my favorite color combinations. I think it's elegant and works well for a sympathy card.
